Jenne's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more dry goods to sell.

Jenne's story

This is 42-year-old Jenne. She is married with 6 children, 5 of whom currently attend school while living at home.

Jenne is a businesswoman who sells dry goods such as toothpaste, soda, soap, peanuts, pepper, and other items. She describes herself as a hardworking businesswoman.

She normally sells 11 hours each day and has been running this business for the past 6 years. She has had no problems with her business.

Jenne often carries goods to her business site by car. She learned to sell from her oldest sister and started her business from her own savings. She likes her business because sales are good and profitable, and it also enables her to lead a better life.

To enhance her business, she applied for a loan through BRAC Liberia, Kiva's field partner. The loan will be used to buy more dry goods to sell, which will increase her sales, volume, and profits.

In the future, she would like to build a house. She says thank you for your support.
