A loan helped to buy more fabrics to fulfill the demand for her sales business by making it more effective, for her family.

Kiran's story

Kiran is a 30-year old married woman, living in the area of Lahore, Pakistan. She is the mother of three children.

She owns a clothing business, her practice to buy fabrics from wholesaler and sell it to the vicinity. She has lot of lady customers who like to buy fabrics from her. Her husband purchases fabrics from out of city to minimize the cost.

Due to the customers, demand is increasing day by day but she does not have sufficient amount to buy more fabrics. Therefore, Kiran requested a loan from Kiva’s field partner’s BRAC Pakistan, so that she would be able to buy more fabrics to fulfill the demand.

She has already been taking the loan from BRAC and investing in the business. Her dreams are for the bright future of her children, establishment of business and for better living standard of her family.
