Rose's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy rice, noodles, biscuits, tea, canned foods and soaps for her general store business.

Rose's story

Rose is a 32-year-old woman who is married with eight children. She lives with her family in a rural community outside Honiara, capital of Solomon Island.

She runs a small general store business selling food items such as rice, noodles, canned foods and household items like soap in her community to earn a living. She has in this business for three years. She joined SPBD in 2016 to gain access to financial services for her business.

Rose has requested this loan to help her pay for additional rice, noodles, biscuits, tea, canned foods and soaps to increase her stock capacity and assist her in maintaining her business.

She plans to use her profits to support her family and meet her their daily needs.
