Jane's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase farming inputs, like hybrid seeds, to boost the quality of her crops and elevate her standard of living.

Jane's story

Jane is a responsible, 56-year-old woman. She is the proud mother of cute children.

Jane is an active woman who works in agricultural activities, a skill that she inherited from her parents. In addition to engaging in some small business activities, Jane has been a very hardworking mixed farmer for the past 12 years, keeping dairy cows and growing vegetables and maize.

In Kenya, agriculture is one of the most competitive industries, especially due to the high cost of operations necessary to improve farming. Such costs include the cost of land acquisition and inputs such as seeds and fertilizers. To meet the high costs of inputs, farmers have been forced to borrow from financial institutions which sometimes impose very complicated procedures for loan distribution.

That is why Jane is seeking a loan to purchase farming inputs, such as hybrid seeds, to boost the quality of her crop farming, earn more profits, and elevate her standard of living. Through this loan, Jane will be assured of a bumper crop harvest, which will mean more profits and income.

Jane hopes you will consider her appeal for the loan. It would mean a lot to her and her family.
