Umucyo Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase more livestock such as goats and chickens to sell.

Umucyo Group's story

Aurelie is 52 years old and has two children who attend school. She is an enthusiastic woman and very committed to the well-being of her children. She works very hard so that she can provide them and improve their living conditions. Aurelie operates a goat and chicken farm, which she has been doing for two years.

Aurelie requested her second loan from VisionFund Rwanda, which she will use to buy more sucklings (male goats aged six months), chicken medicines and feeds, and to repair her farm fence. She will also buy farm feeding and water equipment. With this loan, she will will be able to maintain her farm business and earn more revenue from it.

Aurelie plans to save the profits from this loan so that she can utilize them to expand her business. She is the Umucyo Group leader. One of the positive changes she witnessed since her first loan is that she has been able to pay her children’s school fees without difficulty.
