Maria Cleotilde's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to invest in a cooler to preserve food and ingredients (coffee sugar, fruit, etc.).

Maria Cleotilde's story

María is 39 years old and is a small entrepreneur from the city of Cartagena. She came from Venezuela, returning to her native city after facing the difficult situation of the neighboring country with her children and spouse.

She was not successful in her search for formal employment and with her needs unmet, she made the decision to sell food. She began selling coffee on the street and little by little, collected enough capital and increased her supply to include arepas (ground maize patties with cheese, beans, or meat) and frozen foods.

She is currently negotiating her first Kiva loan to invest in a cooler to preserve food and ingredients (coffee, sugar, fruits, etc.) Please consider helping her in her business.
