Ndéye's Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy chicks for aviculture (poultry breeding).

Ndéye's Group's story

This group is part of a banc villageois which was started in June 2015. It is composed of 6 women who live in the same neighborhood and support each other.

Madam Ndéye is 44 and is the group's representative. She can be found in the right of the photo with her hand raised. She is married and the mother of 5 children, all school-age.

Ndéye works in aviculture (poultry breeding). She purchases chicks and feed from providers and runs her business from home. She has worked in this business for one year now.

With this loan, Ndéye plans to purchase 200 chicks, 8 bags of feed, and vaccines. She will sell the chicks in 2 months, when they will be in high demand. Her principal clients are her neighbors, who always place their orders with her.

The proceeds from her sales will allow Ndéye to help her husband cover family expenses.
