Taylor's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped get my food truck up and running so I can expand this local business further.
I grew up in a house with two young parents and one older brother. My mother had my brother when she was just 16 but my parents managed to give us the best life possibly. Seeing my parents both work so hard to provide for us the best education and life possible inspired me to do the same for my family to hopefully one day give back to them. After seeing them work jobs with long hours that they necessarily did not love, I was inspired to be an entrepreneur to do something I would love to do. St. Louis is pretty huge on food trucks and after attending many events I decided that my first goal would be to start a food truck. Most people think I am crazy to be starting this while finishing college, living at home, and working only a part time job. However, I am 100% driven and determined to make this work, especially with the amazing support system I have. One recent event that has truly inspired me to live my best life is losing my big brother. Realizing how precious life is and to not waste it on being unhappy really kick started my ambition to do something out of the ordinary that I know I would love. I know he would be so proud of me for sticking to my word and starting this truck. After having the truck for some years to come I plan on starting another small business of my own here in St. Louis. Hopefully it will be something my mother and aunt can work with me on so they can quit their jobs to live a happier and more creative life.
