Josephine's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more beans, garie, flour, sugar and other items to sell.

Josephine's story

Josephine is a 40-year-old businesswoman. She is single. She has two children aged 12 and 15. Both of her children are presently attending school while living at home. Josephine attended school up to third grade. She has been involved in a business which sells beans, garie, flour, sugar, and other items. She has been in this business for the past 13 years without any problem. She describes herself as a hard working businesswoman that sells 15 hours on a daily basis.

To increase her business, she asked for a loan with BRAC Liberia. The loan will be used to buy more beans, garie, flour, sugar and other items to sell and expand the business. She carries her goods to her business site by car. Her mother taught her the business and she started selling with her own savings. She likes her business because it helps her take care of her family. In the future she would like to build a house. She said thanks for your support.
