Fiorella's story

Fiorella Vásquez, 21, is a dynamic, optimistic woman that lives in the city of Pucallpa, Ucayali region. She is single and lives with her parents. She sells sweets from her home. She has been a member of the “Fray Martin de Porres” communal bank for the past two years. Her first, 300 new sol, loan was used to buy sweets. Now, she needs 900 new soles to buy bananas to make chifles (fried plantain chips); she will also buy sweets for her business. Fiorella's goal is to have a well-stocked store and to continue to help her parents meet household expenses.
