Yamaye Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for millet, sugar, and ginger for making porridge to sell.

Yamaye Group's story

Ms. MARIAME, aged 51, represents the group named YAMAYE. A married woman, she is the mother of four children. The oldest is 30, and the youngest is 17. Two are attending school. She has five persons to support.

For ten years, she has been selling porridge and woven ‘pagne’ cloth. She gets supplies from a market in town.

She wants to purchase a sack of millet, a ½ bag of sugar, and a ½ bag of ginger for her porridge. She wants to save her earnings to purchase a motorbike. Her ambition is to expand her commerce by including the sale of galettes and cakes and to cover her children’s school fees.
