Rosemary's story

Rosemary, age 42, is married to Joseph and together they have six children. She is into farming, growing seasonal crops. She also does cattle farming to supplement her income.

Rosemary has applied for a loan of 3,000,000 UGX from UGAFODE to buy mulch for her farm. The mulching will help retain soil fertility in the dry season and also control soil erosion in the rainy season. Rosemary is confident that this will boost crop production, thereby bringing in more yields.

Rosemary is appealing to the Kiva lenders to help her in order to improve her farming business and better her family's livelihood.
