Ngouille's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for sheep to fatten and resell.

Ngouille's Group's story

This group is composed of twelve women sharing strong ties of solidarity and mutual assistance. They live in the same village and have jumped at the chance to join the 'banc villageois' which was established in their town in January 2017. The women’s main work involves raising livestock.

Ms. Ngouille (standing at the far right in the photo with a hand raised) is the group's representative. She is 66, married, and the mother of two daughters, aged 16 and 26, and a son, aged 20. She raises livestock and enjoys experience in this work for having done it for several years.

With this loan, she envisions buying sheep, which she will fatten over five months or more and then resell. With the profits, she will bolster her savings and help her daughters at home.
