A loan helped to purchase four carpets for her infants' learning rooms.

Rushanga Group's story

They say Rome was not built in one day but with humble consistent efforts. In Mashonaland east in a small township lives a great dreamer named Nellie. Nellie is a 52-year-old assertive lady who started a preschool business not so many years ago. She dreamt of her preschool becoming a very competitive private primary school one day. Nellie adores children and she believes that in every child there is greatness and if nurtured well, children are agents of development in the fullness of time.

Nellie is married to a very humble gentleman who greatly esteems her entrepreneurial spirit. She is a mother of four beautiful children. She is very proud to be able to send them to school with the proceeds from her preschool business. Nellie prides in education, even though she did not get the chance to pursue her educational dreams to the level she wanted because of her poor background. She strongly desires to support her children’s educational dreams as far as she can.

Nellie wants to use her portion of the loan to purchase four carpets for her infants' learning rooms. This is a partial requirement for her to be certified by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education.
