A loan helped To pay plowing fees and to buy fertilizer and pesticide.
Mr. Kosal M., 40, and his wife, Mrs. Sovoeun Sok, 39, shown in the photo with their children, live along National Road Number One about seventeen kilometers from Phnom Penh. They were married in 1990 and have seven children: two sons and five daughters. Two of the children are assisting their parents with their farming business, four others attend school, and the youngest stays at home. Kosal and his wife are farmers. They grow many kinds of vegetables such as cauliflowers, bitter gourd and eggplant on their farmland in the village. The couple hopes to increase the volume of their products, so Kosal is asking for a loan of $1,200 to pay plowing fees and to buy fertilizer and pesticide to use on her farm.
