Teodoro's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy bio-fertilizers, calcium, zinc, etc., and to pay his co-workers.

Teodoro's story

Teodoro has worked for many years of his life in the coffee business. In his small farm, he has planted different types of coffee, in order to have the suggested variety ready when it is time to sell. Although part of the land is used for basic grains, that is for family consumption.

His small farm is 4.2 hectares, which he runs with the help of his wife, in the north-central region of Nicaragua, in the city of Jalapa. He lives there with his wife and three children. His farm is certified by Fair Trade, UTZ, and Café Practices, which represents a significant commitment to the environment.

For this cycle, in conjunction with PAC's technical team, he has designed a plan of improved nutrition for 1.4 hectares of coffee, which will offer stable employment to other members of his community. The requested funds will be invested in the purchase of bio-fertilizers, calcium, zinc, etc., and to pay his co-workers.

With the support of his family, he has been able to maximize resources and production on his farm, stabilizing the family situation and supporting the community. Teodoro's dream is to have a model farm, where he may share his experience with other producers and improve the well-being of his family.
