A loan helped to buy a dairy cow to increase her cattle headcount and organic milk sales.

Katia's story

Katia is 29 years old and isn't married. She received a high school education and is very hardworking by nature. Katia has been raising livestock and crops since 2009 in order to provide her family with their primary source of income. As a result of her hard work and her parents' help, Katia's farm currently consists of three cows and 1.6 hectares of irrigated land where she grows beans and clover. In order to further develop her farm, Katia has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a 60,000 KGS loan to buy a dairy cow so she can increase her livestock headcount and organic milk sales. The income generated by this loan will help Katia expand her farm and save up money to buy a car for her family.
