Sana'a's story

Sana'a is a 39-year-old Jordanian woman, the mother of three and a secondary school graduate. She always believed that life struggles can only be defeated with ambition and dream fulfillment, the factor that influenced her into opening up a home based business, which she loves.

As the wife of a non-Jordanian, who was not fortunate enough in finding a good job, Sana'a started working for a cleaning company to provide for the family. Her son also works for a water station and is helping his mother in covering their daily life expenses.

Life necessities and responsibilities never end. Sanaa who had the skill and will to start-up a salon business, bought a few make-up and hair dressing tools, in spite of the insufficiency of financial resources, and started to market to neighbors and friends.

Sana'a asked for a loan of 2000 JD from Kiva filed partner, Micro fund for Women, to expand her business and get more equipment to support her home based salon.

As an ambitious woman, she dreams of opening her independent beauty salon where she can attract more clients and increase the services she provides to support her family financials and secure a better future for them.
