Theodora's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy varied stock of frozen fish and meat for her meat shop to attract more customers.

Theodora's story

Theodora lives and works just outside of the busy town of Kasoa. She has three dependents, and two of her children are in school.

Theodora knows that for her children to have a great education and opportunities in life, she needs to work hard at her business. For the past three years, she has run a frozen meat and fish business as well as sold spices. One of her biggest challenges is when power outages occur; she struggles to keep her items frozen. Luckily, the outages are occurring less frequently than they used to.

She has noted that some of her clients have asked her for frozen items she doesn’t have, so she wants to use this loan to increase the variety of her goods. Her goal is to not only keep her current clients but also to grow and diversify her clientele.

This is Theodora’s second loan with Advans. She knows that by working to grow her shop, she will help ensure many opportunities for her children’s and family’s future.
