Dios Me Ama 5 Group's story

Litania is a young Haitian woman who arrived in the Dominican Republic, at the age of 10 years old, in search of a better quality of life. Litania is married and has two children but, just like all enterprising women, has had to search for a way to support her family. Litania has a store where she sells sweets, such as gum, popsicles, cookies, juices, mints, etc. She also works selling undergarments, such as bras, underwear, and robes, among other things.

The situation of poverty and shortages in Haiti causes the people to have to go to other nearby countries in search of a better quality of life. This is the case with Litania. She says that her dream is to be able to give her children a good education, which she was not able to have. She wants them to have a university degree and to do well in life. She also wants to have her own house.

Litania needs to purchase merchandise to stock her businesses, such as candy, cookies, juices, underwear, bras, boxers, etc., to be able to continue generating higher income in order to fulfill the dreams she has for her family. Thank you for contributing to Dios Me Ama 5 [God Loves Me 5].
