El Jardin Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fertilizers and supplies for maintaining her coffee crop, to buy pigs and concentrated feed, and to pay for renovations to her pig pen.

El Jardin Group's story

María is a hardworking woman who is 49 years old, married, and has one child. She lives with her family in the town of Concepción del Sur, Santa Bárbara. María works in agriculture by cultivating coffee and raising pigs to sell. She has been in business for 10 years and conducts her activities in the same community where she lives. The income she earns from her businesses is used to pay for utilities, household expenses, and food.

María is requesting a loan as part of a group so that she can buy fertilizers and supplies for maintaining her coffee crop, as well as pigs and concentrated feed for these animals. She is part of the group “El Jardín”, which is requesting a loan of 40,000 HNL to invest in the purchase of fertilizers and supplies for growing coffee, pigs and concentrated feed, and also renovations to a pig pen. The group consists of two members who work in agriculture. The photo shows María on the left and Yesica on the right.
