Ruth's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped a hard-working mother to buy farm inputs such as fertilizer and seeds to enable her to grow more vegetables, make profits and assure her children of a stable future.

Ruth's story

Meet Ruth. She is very hard working and a go-getter. She hails from a remote village in the Kitale area of Kenya. This area is known for producing some of the world’s biggest athletes.

Ruth started farming 14 years ago with an aim of generating income to be used by her family as she is the only breadwinner. Her primary sources of income are poultry, vegetables, crops and animal farming.

She is content with the farming way of life. The Kitale area has favorable conditions for horticulture farming. That is why Ruth is seeking a loan to buy fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides and start horticulture farming. She will use these inputs to produce high-quality produce that will attract demand in the market and boost her sales.

Ruth hopes to generate profits to repay her loan and enable her to save for her children’s school fees. With her skills in business, she is confident she will achieve her objectives. She is patiently awaiting your kindness.
