Twitezimbere Gashyushya Group's story
Henriette, a 35-year-old housewife and mother of four children, together with her husband, have run a restaurant business for the past four years with six employees selling different type of cooked food like banana, beans, sweet potatoes etc. Henriette is Twitezimbere Gashyashya Group's leader and this is her first loan cycle with Visionfund Rwanda. She plans to utilize the loan as investment into her business and grow its revenues, and she will use the profits from the loan to provide healthy life standards to her children, pay for their school fees and buy them basic needs like clothing and school equipment. She sees her business growing larger with higher customers in the near future. She is dedicated to the well-being of her family and she dearly thanks the Kiva lenders who offered her the aid to expand her business. With this loan, she hopes to address increased customer demand and make revenue to improve her family's standard of life.
