Agness's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more food products for her business.

Agness's story

Agness is a 30-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her parents in Nchelenge district in Zambia. She sells kapenta (small fish) and chickens.

Agness is requesting a Kiva loan to expand her business. She plans to use the profit she earns to support her family.

In order to pay off the social interest on her loan, Agness will volunteer three hours per week as a Camfed Business Guide, leading sessions to teach less-experienced local women how to become successful entrepreneurs. Topics will include developing their business acumen and sharing the lessons she learned from operating her business.
