but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy rice, legumes, meats, pastas, vegetables, and other products to sell at his store.

Hector's story

Héctor is a merchant who sells provisions and groceries. He opened his store in a neighborhood in the town of Soledad. The idea for this business came about due to his more than 25 years of experience in this line of work. His relatives are also shopkeepers and Héctor was involved in the business as a child.

Héctor lives with his partner and is the father of two children, ages 25 and 21. His wife helps with the business. Héctor’s customers are friends, neighbors from the area, and passersby. He offers all types of provisions and groceries. His sales are done primarily on a cash basis, but he also has customers who he allows to pay in installments. His suppliers are wholesalers and he serves the public every day.

Héctor is applying for his first Kiva loan so that he can invest in merchandise for his store such as rice, legumes, meats, pastas, vegetables, and other products so that his customers can find everything in one location. Please support his loan.
