Cessiri Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy rams to resell in order to be able to feed his family properly.

Cessiri Group's story

Kalifa is the man in the group photo holding the ram's horn. He is 47 years old and a married father of seven children aged between 8 and 22 years old. Three of his children are in school. His wife rears sheep and does a little trading for her family's well-being.

Kalifa has been breeding sheep and rams for 20 years and gets his stock at the weekly markets in his area. He can make an estimated profit of XOF 25,000-30,000 per animal. Selling his animals enables him to meet the nutritional needs of his family and to pay for medical expenses and his children's school fees. He currently has two rams that he gives a lot of veterinary care to. He is a generous person and has a good reputation in his village.

Kalifa hopes to request subsequent loans to grow his farming business.
