Awa's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy brooms and lemon juice for resale.

Awa's Group's story

These 20 women live in the same neighborhood and belong to the same bank villageois launched in December 2001. They mainly work as small vendors and have a spirit of solidarity.

Mouskeba, the one raising her hand in the photo, is the group representative. She is 66 years old. She is married and has four children, including two sons. Mouskeba has been selling brooms and lemon juice for four years. With her loan she plans to buy one pack of brooms and two 20-liter [5-gallon] jugs of lemon juice. Her revenues will be used for savings and for the purchase of livestock.
