Duncun's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fertilizers which will be used to expand his production and make more income to expand his banana farm.

Duncun's story

Duncun is a 21-year-old farmer who works as a manager on his own agribusiness farm. Duncun lives in the Nkubu area of Kenya and commands a lot of respect.

He loves and cherishes his family and his beautiful wife who helps him in his farming business. Because of his great love and passion for farming, Duncun has even nicknamed his cows. His cows are good producers of milk averaging 10-12 litres of milk per day. For more than eight years, his main sources of income have been selling milk, eggs, and bananas. He is an experienced banana farmer.

Duncun's biggest challenges are diseases caused by pests and poor quality of his bananas due to a lack of good quality farming inputs.

Farmers in the area lack capital to buy fertilizers, which is why Duncun decided to join Juhudi Kilimo to access loans that would help him improve his banana farm. The additional income made possible by this loan will help expand his farm and increase his livestock, which will serve as a strong foundation for a bright future.

Duncun fully repaid a previous loan, and says thanks for reading his profile. He hopes for your help and support.
