Hibat-Allah's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to establish her own business designing and fixing clothes.

Hibat-Allah's story

Hibat-Allah is a 30-year-old Jordanian mother of 3 children. She is the main breadwinner of her family as her husband is ill and retired.

Hibat-Allah’s older sister works as a tailor and taught her the basics of sewing. After gaining experience and skill, Hibat-Allah started designing clothes without the help of her sister.

She also thought of diversifying her income through making leather bags and selling them in the market.

After thinking about it, Hibat decided to work independently designing and fixing clothes. Hibat’s biggest challenge is marketing her products, which she plans to overcome by attending marketing and sales courses.

She asked for a loan in the amount of 700 JOD from Kiva Field Partner Microfund for Women to start her own business and buy a sewing machine.

Hibat-Allah dreams of opening her own shop that will offer a wide range of clothes for all people, and of providing a comfortable life for her family.
