Dúo Misericordia Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy firewood and corn for her snack business.

Dúo Misericordia Group's story

The group “Dúo Misericordia” continues to be represented by Doña Maria, who happily sells snacks such as porridge in different flavors (white corn, yellow corn, lima beans, and other vegetables), tostadas, French fries, and fried pork skins. She sells on the weekends and engages in domestic work during the week. Doña Maria has two young daughters who are studying. As a result of life’s situations, she must be both mother and father to them. For this reason, she works hard to pay their educational expenses because she loves her daughters and wants to provide the best for them. Her daughters also help with her business by making snacks.

Doña Amada has completed her payments on time and is now requesting a new loan to buy firewood and corn since the price of these products go up during the winter season. She is grateful to the Kiva lenders for their help and wants them to experience success and blessings in everything.
