Alfret's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy farm inputs, manure, seedlings and pesticides.

Alfret's story

The borrower is married with four children and they live in a five-room apartment house in Bali, Paila Quarter, North West Region of Cameroon. He joined GHAPE in 2016 and is going for his second loan.

With the new loan requested, he plans to buy more seedlings, manure and pesticides, and will also increase his farm size. He is confident that the activity will succeed because he has a mastery of his activity and has been into it for a number of years.

He believes his activity will help the community by providing them with vegetables and other outputs at a relatively lower cost and hence help increase the living standard of the community and the society at large.

With the profit to be received from the loan, he will plough back some into his activity, pay his children’s school fees, and provide basic necessities for the family.

He prefers getting a loan from GHAPE because the repayment schedule is convenient, the low interest rates, the business knowledge he gets before receiving loans and needing no collateral.
