Miriam's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to provide assistance to the coffee.

Miriam's story

Miriam is 50 years old and divorced. She lives with her children, who are her greatest priority. With her loan, she plans to purchase agricultural supplies and other products to apply them to her coffee crop. In this way, the harvest will have good development and health and also that leaves of the plant can resist the pests and diseases which increase in the rainy season due to the humidity that exists in the environment. In addition, she will pay labor costs to apply the products and assist the plants once the harvest has developed. In this way, she will assure good work is done.

What she plans is to make the most of the good climate and soil conditions which the area has for this crop and, also, to put into practice the experience of a number of years of managing coffee. In addition, she will be able to purchase the best products and of better quality so that her plants have good development and health and also a good harvest and, in the short term, have a significant production. With the income from the harvest that she expects to get, she wants to use it for the well-being of her family and achieve some family goals and continue investing more in her crops.

This is the first loan that she has gotten from FUDECOSUR. She has not had previous loans from state banks, but FUDECOSUR has offered her the loan with better terms and a much lower interest rate.
