Cingane's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy grocery products.

Cingane's story

Cingane is a 20-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her mother, father and siblings in Umguza District in Zimbabwe. She is requesting a Kiva loan to start her own grocery business selling a variety of food items, such as chocolates, corn snacks, and vegetables.

Cingane plans to use the profit she earns to support her family. She will repay the "social interest" on her loan by volunteering 2.5 hours per week as a Camfed Learner Guide. She will facilitate classes from Camfed’s "My Better World" program with students at her local secondary school, help to build children’s self-esteem, and motivate them to remain in school.
