Abidahan's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy sugar for her honey bees to increase production of organic honey.
Abidahan is 64, married, and has three children. She has a secondary education and is very hardworking by nature. She earns the main income for her family by raising bees and selling bread that she bakes at home. Thanks to Abidahan’s hard work and help from her spouse, she currently has 75 beeboxes that yield 1.7 tons of organic honey per year. Her grandchildren help her bake and sell bread, and together they bake up to 400 loaves of lepyoshka bread per day, some of which she sells herself at the central market, with the rest being delivered to other stores. In order to develop her beekeeping business, Abidahan applied for a loan of 97,500 som (KGS) with Bai Tushum Bank to buy sugar for her bees in order to increase production of organic honey. The earnings from the loan will help Abidahan improve her family’s material well-being and save money for her grandson’s future wedding.
