Adama's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy accessories needed to make belly chains, nightgowns, and earrings.

Adama's Group's story

This group began from a Banc Villageois and is composed of twenty three (23) women living in the same neighborhood. Their strong social cohesion gave rise to this group in 2011. Their principal activity is commerce, and this is their 4th loan cycle.

Mrs. Khady, pictured at the far right of the photo with her arm raised, is the group representative. She is married. She is 51 years old and the mother of four children, two of whom are boys. Her main business is selling feminine accessories. For this reason, she will use this loan to buy various items to make jewelry, pearl belly chains, and nightgowns. The work is done by hand with needles. She will sell her products in her neighborhood and in the nearby areas that she knows well.

She will use the profits generated from her small business to take charge of her children's education and the family's needs. A portion of the profits will be reinjected into her business to help it grow.
