Sithokozile's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase a wider variety of clothing.

Sithokozile's story

Sithokozile is a 29-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her son, siblings and parents in the District of Lupane in Zimbabwe. She runs a flea market business.

With her first Kiva loan, Sithokozile bought clothes and stationery. She used the profit she earned to buy uniforms, food, and clothing for her family.

Sithokozile is now requesting a second loan in order to increase stock of her clothing business.

She plans to use the profit she earns to purchase a two-wheeled cart.

Sithokozile will repay the ‘social interest’ on her second loan by volunteering 2.5 hours weekly as a Camfed Learner Guide, supporting other young women who are just entering Camfed’s alumnae organization, CAMA, by delivering an orientation course with weekly sessions on topics including health and financial literacy, as well as by providing career guidance.
