Rukhsana's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy wire making material for her family's manufacturing business and earn a profitable income.

Rukhsana's story

Rukhsana is a 40-year-old married woman living in the area of Lahore, Pakistan. She is pictured above standing with her husband. She is a mother of four children and is motivated to provide her family with good quality food and health.

She is taking this loan for her husband’s wire manufacturing business. He owns a wire making business which he runs from their home, and sells wire which is to be used in many items. Due to the increased cost of wire, he is unable to buy the material for making wire to sell. For this reason, Rukhsana has requested a Kiva loan from Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan. With the loan, her husband would be able to buy wire making material. He wants to become more established in his business and earn more income to support his family members.

Rukhsana hopes that this loan will prove productive and beneficial for her family. She gives thanks to Kiva and field partner BRAC Pakistan.
