Casical (Tosagua) Group's story

Tosagua is a productive area. They farm cacao, coffee, bananas, maize, among others. They raise corral animals and pigs. Their gastronomy is very well known in the area. Their main dish is fried and roasted chame (fish).
The group Credito Casical meets every fifteen days. It is made up of 11 members, 9 of which are women and 2 are men. The president of the group is Ines. She is 45 years old, she is married, and she had 5 children, one of which passed away. Two of them are older and independent, and two are minors, 14 and 10, who attend school.
Her husband is a farmer. They live in a rented house. Ines takes advantage of the fact that they live in a small farm where they can farm chickens and pigs. She has had this business for 20 years or more. She has the help of her husband and her children. They raise the animals for 3 or 4 months, or until they are ready to be sold. They sell them alive, or depending on their client's needs. With this new loan she will buy maize, vaccines, feed, vitamins, etc. Her dreams is to have her own house and farm.
