Amy's Group's story

These twelve women live in the same neighborhood and are members of the same "Banc Villageois" which was created in May 2010. Madam Fatou Bintou, the group's representative, is 53 years old. She is married and has seven children including one girl. She has joined the group at its creation and is its president. Madam Fatou Bintou has been developing a cereal processing business for eight years. With this loan, she will buy two bags of millet and two bags of corn. With her profits, she will pay for her children's schooling expenses, cover her personal needs and help her husband who is retired.
