A loan helped to buy an embroidery machine to sew gulduzi (traditional Tajik embroidery) on dresses.

Shahlo's story

Shahlo is a 30-year-old woman from Shahriston. She is married and has four children. Shahlo's husband is a butcher. He sells fresh meat at the market.

Shahlo is a seamstress. She sews embroideries called "gulduzi" on dresses. Gulduzi are national traditional embroideries that decorate Tajik dresses. Shahlo loves her job and treasures it. She has been offering tailoring services from home for five years. It is convenient for Shalo to sew from home, since she can concurrently look after her children and do household chores.

With the loan, Shahlo wants to buy an embroidery sewing machine and expand her business. Shalo believes in your support.
