A loan helped to maintain her avocado crops in order to have a more productive harvest and increase her sales.

Teodora Irma's story

Teodora is a hardworking, 70-year-old woman. She lives together with her husband in the town of Omate, which is situated in Moquegua. She makes a living from farming. She currently likes to grow avocados on her plot of land, which she has been preparing with fertiliser and with the care that is always needed in this business, taught to her by her parents.

She is requesting a micro-loan so she can maintain her avocado crops in order to have a more productive harvest and increase her sales. Teodora hopes in the future to have financial stability, together with her husband, who is shown on the right in the photograph. He has always supported her with all the decisions she has made. She also hopes to invest her profits in expanding her crops.
