A loan helped to buy a dough mixing machine and large industrial oven to meet customer demand.

Ana's story

Ana is responsible in her work which she began by making “pan de batalla” (crispy bread) for her relatives. Once she observed it was well received among her relatives and neighbors she had the initiative to start selling her products door to door to the general public and her sales activity started to grow.

Now, in order to start a business and continue the activity she needs to buy a dough mixing machine and large industrial oven in order to meet customer demand.

Ana received a certificate from the “cea thaqua thaqu” alternative education center. She has four independent children so she works on her own to support herself and her husband who has a low income. To help earn more income, Ana works every day selling bread but income is still minimum and she is unable to support the family entirely.

Ana’s work is fundamental in the area because she has home-made, quality breads that are made to customer satisfaction.
