Ali's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy noodles, biscuits, canned foods, salt, tea and sugar for her general store business.

Ali's story

Ali is 36 years old and she is married with three children. She lives with her family in a rural community in Honiara, the capital of Solomon Island.

She owns and operates a small general store business selling food items such as rice, noodles, biscuits, salt, sugar and tea in her community to earn a living. She has been in this business for four years.

Ali has requested a loan to pay for additional noodles, biscuits, canned foods, salt, tea and sugar to increase her stocks and assist her in maintaining her business.

She plans to use her profits to support her family and pay for her child's school fees.

Ali joined SPBD in 2015 to gain access to financial services for her business.
