Sajjad's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase furniture and get the walls of the school painted.

Sajjad's story

Sajjad is a 47-year-old man who established a school, in a small community, 21 years ago. There are 507 students enrolled in the school and 66% of them are female students. Sajjad says, “There is strong gender inequality in male and female literacy in the community. Mostly women are deprived of education, whereas boys are sent to schools. Therefore I decided to change the mind-set of people by placing more emphasis on female education to remove the literacy gap between males and females”.

At present, more furniture is needed to accommodate additional students joining school after summer vacations. Moreover, the walls of the school need to be painted to give a neater look to the school. He has requested an amount of 300,000 PKR for purchasing furniture and for getting the walls of the school painted.
