Josephine's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy stocks of rice, cooking oil, milk, noodles, etc. to sell for increased revenue.

Josephine's story

Forty-year-old Josephine is a resident of Koforidua, the Eastern Regional capital of Ghana. She is married with five children.

For eight years now, Josephine's source of income is from the operation of a provision shop in the community. Her neighbours are able to get household consumables from her shop with ease and at almost any time of the day, as she opens her shop very early in the morning and closes late into the night. She is such a hardworking woman. She is seeking financial assistance to buy stocks for the shop so as to meet the growing demands of her customers.

She looks forward to re-investing her profits back into the business. She is grateful in advance to generous Kiva supporters for coming to her aid.
