Teopista's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy fertilisers.

Teopista's story

Teopista is 50 years old and married with seven children and one dependent.

Teopista has a grocery store in one of the food markets within Ibanda town, which has been her main source of income for 12 years. She also does coffee and banana growing to supplement her income. Toepista has been able to construct a permanent house for her family and also provide them with other basic necessities using the money she gets from these businesses.

Teopista is grateful for her previous loan that she used to buy more groceries to sell. The increase in the profits financed her children's tuition at university.

She has applied for another loan of 2,500,000 UGX from UGAFODE to buy fertilizers for her banana and coffee plantation to better her yields. She also plans to use some of the money to add more stock in her grocery store.

Teopista is confident that with this funding, her farming and retail business will improve which will better her finances. She has thanked the funders for the support.
