Perlita's story

Perlita is a married woman and her husband is a house painter. They have one child living with them. She has had a store for nine years now and, aside from that, also repairs or sew clothes to help her husband earn.

As her husband's earnings rely on the number and kind of contract he gets, there are more times in a month when their family would largely rely on their store to get by with their daily needs. This is why Perlita has ensured that she is able to diligently re-stock her store. She also maintains that they are fortunate to have their house in a good location suitable for their store. Often, too, her store would run out of important stocks before her scheduled marketing every other day.

Perlita is requesting a loan of PHP 15,000 to stock up on highly consumed items such as rice, assorted noodles, canned goods and instant coffee mixes to ensure she meets the demands of her customer on time.
