Milcah's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy seeds and expand her tea farm to meet the high demand for tea in her village.

Milcah's story

Special people!

Living on the surface of the world is a wonderful experience since you can meet beautiful and amazing creatures like Milcah (pictured above). She is a woman with a big heart, and her tenderness and her love for farming exceeds all limits. She is a wise farmer who is respected by her neighbors and fellow farmers as a mentor.

Milcah grows tea and rears dairy cows. Farming is a skill that she got from her parents when she was young. Today, she has grown to one of the most respected woman farmers in her area.

Milcah is seeking a 50,000 KES loan from Kiva lenders to buy seeds and expand her tea farming business. Tea farming offers employment opportunities to thousands of smallholder farmers in the Litein area, and it’s for this reason that Juhudi has teamed up with Kiva to get access to a loan that will help her expand her tea farm into a highly profitable business.

With your loan, Milcah’s family will benefit from the growth of her business. This will not only increase their income but will also improve their living standards. Lenders, if there is someone you should consider lending to this year, that person is Milcah!

Milcah is so thankful to have a chance like this Kiva loan. She hopes for your help.
