Sulieti's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase some more groceries for her retail store.

Sulieti's story

Sulieti is 55 years old. She's married to a farmer husband and has 14 children, four of whom are still currently attending school, one already at the university and three at the high school. She's running her business of retail store and weaving ta'ovala and mats. Her main business is her retail store. In her weaving, she works together with her family to produce more mats. She doesn't hire anyone to help in her business because she has enough help from her children.

She faced challenges of lacking funds when the sales in her store are slow and not good. She applied for a loan from SPBD and used it to buy more goods for her store. Sulieti has a vision for the future: she needs to have a long life for her business and be profitable in order to help educate her children for a better future.
