'Ana's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to plow the plantation so that she can plant new peanuts.

'Ana's story

'Ana is 35 years old. She's married with four children. They are living together at their own home. Two of her children are currently at school and two are still underage.

Her business is growing a peanut plantation and harvesting it to sell. Her husband is her main helper at their plantation.

Last February, Tonga was struck by a very strong cyclone named Gita that affected most of Tongan people's lives. 'Ana's house was badly affected by the cyclone. She applied for a rehabilitation loan and used it to plow their plantation to grow new peanuts there in order to get more money to recover from the cyclone damage.

'Ana's vision for the future is to be able to educate her children so that they could have a good life in the future. She does not want her children to suffer the same she has. She says to implement her vision, she has to expand her business by adding on new business to earn money.
